Mark Allen, CFA®, CFP® founded Bull Street Advisors in mid-2019, after 18 years as a portfolio manager and CEO of an investment advisory firm in Southeast Georgia.  He began his career working as a portfolio manager for a small investment firm in Stamford, Connecticut in 1993, before moving to Savannah in 2001.  Mark has offered investment advice to a wide range of individual and institutional clients during his career and holds both Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Analyst designations.  He earned a BA in Economics with Honors from Northwestern University, and an MBA with distinction from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Mark believes that wealth management decisions should be made using a client-focused approach, making sure that each client’s needs, obligations, and risk tolerance are at the forefront when making investment decisions.  He formed Bull Street Advisors to enable him to better focus his advice on meeting the needs of each of his clients.

Mark and his wife, Julie, are active in the local community as well as throughout the state of Georgia, serving through their church and a wide range of board engagements.  They have three daughters.
